The person before the player.
Age, experience, confidence and ambition shape the way we coach. The first conversation is about you, not a standard label.
We build tennis and padel academies that develop people, strengthen clubs and give coaching a clear direction.
Founded in 2021, Alpha grew from Panos Giaxis and Michaela Boev’s shared belief that a good academy develops more than a player’s game.
Their coaching and playing experience shaped a simple conviction: people deserve clear direction, coaches deserve a culture of learning, and clubs deserve a partner who understands their identity.
That belief is the foundation of Alpha, from a child’s first experience of the game to an adult’s next challenge or a player’s competitive ambition.
Our methodology is a coaching philosophy expressed through everyday practice, not a promise that every player should follow the same path.
Age, experience, confidence and ambition shape the way we coach. The first conversation is about you, not a standard label.
Technical priorities, tactical understanding and training habits give practice a clear direction. Players should understand what they are working on and why.
Technique matters because it helps you play. We connect movement and shot-making to positioning, decisions and realistic situations.
Results matter, but so do confidence, effort, resilience and enjoyment. Long-term development is bigger than a single match.
Preparation, reflection, shared knowledge and coach development support consistent standards. Good coaching is a responsibility, not a finished qualification.
Respectful relationships between players, parents, coaches and clubs are part of the work. Trust is earned through everyday actions.
A framework for development, not a race through levels. Your goals help define what progress means.
Find enjoyment and a place to begin.
Build foundations and confidence.
Connect skills, decisions and habits.
Put your learning into practice.
Keep growing, in sport and in life.
Playing for enjoyment is a valid destination. Competitive development is a choice, not an obligation. Programme levels and entry points are explained by your local academy.
A direction worth working for.
Meaningful goals, honest effort and the courage to take the next step. Progress is personal; ambition belongs to everyone.
Stay curious. Keep improving.
Players learn from practice and competition. Coaches keep learning too, reflecting, sharing knowledge and developing their craft.
Bring energy to the process.
Enjoyment and commitment belong together. We want people to love the game enough to keep coming back.
The person always matters.
Care, empathy and respect shape the environment. We build teams and communities, not just individual performances.
Choose how you show up.
Effort, resilience, respect and responsibility are habits we can practise, on court and beyond it.
A clear session purpose, appropriate challenges and feedback that helps players understand their next step.
Clear expectations and respectful communication between players, parents, coaches and the club.
Attention to the daily habits that support development: effort, reliability, learning and care.
Coaching experience on court. A shared commitment to developing people, players and the coaches around them.

With international coaching experience, Panos leads player development, coach education and the academy’s sporting standards. His work connects technical priorities, tactical understanding, physical preparation and strong training habits.
His focus includes high-performance tennis, talent identification and helping coaches turn knowledge into purposeful daily practice.

A former professional player and Belgian top player, Michaela brings high-level playing experience to the academy. Her work focuses on junior development, technical quality, competition habits and supporting the coaching team.
Both founders stay connected to the court, the players and the everyday standards that shape the Alpha experience.
